Dr Mark Wenitong – Medical Advisor, Apunipima Cape York Health Council

On Episode 22 I yarn with Dr Mark Wenitong. He is from the Kabi Kabi tribal group of south Queensland and graduated from Newcastle University Medical School in 1995 as the third Aboriginal male graduate and one of the first Aboriginal men to become a doctor.

Mark is a father, grandfather, devoted husband and talented musician who currently works as a Medical Advisor at the Apunipima Cape York Health Council in Cairns.
